Bryce Peck Memorial Southern Training Day

 Bryce Peck was a long-time member of the LAAI who was tragically lost to a heart attack on January 17, 2021.  Bryce was a long-time member of the fire investigation community, and he was currently serving as a private fire investigator with the Forensic Investigations Group at the time of his passing.

During his LAAI Membership, Bryce served on the LAAI Board of Directors and the Chapter Executive Team.  Bryce served two terms as chapter president and then continued to serve on the Executive Team in the position as Southern Vice President. Bryce was committed to the success of the chapter and was instrumental in the planning and implementation of chapter training events throughout his tenure in a leadership role.  His contributions to the chapter helped ensure the long-term success of the organization and he was recognition with Life Membership.

Additionally, in 2021 the chapter voted to designate the annual southern training day event as the Bryce Peck Memorial Southern Training Day.
